Professionalism & Respect

PTLync maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding all forms of discrimination, harassment or abuse.


It is unacceptable to refuse to provide or accept services based on a person’s race, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, sex, marital status, gender identity, age or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal or state law. This type of behavior can result in permanent loss of access to the PTLync platform.

No aggressive behavior

It is disrespectful to make derogatory remarks about a person or group. Furthermore, commenting on appearance, asking overly personal questions and making unwanted physical contact are all inappropriate. We encourage you be mindful of other users’ privacy and personal space. Violence of any kind will not be tolerated.

Human Kindness

Calm and clear communication is the most effective way to defuse any disagreement that may arise between you and another PTLync user. PTLync expects that all clients and personal trainers will treat one another with respect and courtesy.


The safety of clients and trainer on the PTLync platform is of utmost concern. In order to best protect everyone in the gym, park, fitness studio, sports center etc., we require adherence to the rules in this code of conduct.

It is a serious violation of PTLync policy for trainers to be under the influence of illegal substance and or open containers of alcoholic beverage during sessions, furthermore PTLync does not tolerate drug or alcohol by trainers while using the PTLync app. If a client believes a trainer may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, please request that the session end immediately and alert PTLync support team.

As a trainer it is your responsibility to conduct sessions in a careful and safe manner and request consent from your client if need be. As a client it is your responsibility to abide by the trainer and gym/park/fitness studio or sport center rules, wear covered and protective exercise shoes, and bring along your towel for hygiene purposes. In the instance of mess made after session or use of a equipment, please clean after yourself or alert your personal trainer to do so.


PTLync expects trainers and or gym/park/fitness studio or sport center to provide facilities on site or specify the availability for disability facilities in their venue. This can also be made easy for trainers to know what their client facility requirements are if noted in user/client’s profile prior to lyncing.

Following the rules

We require that trainers keep documents up to date to remain active on PTLync and note down exercises performed in session using the session tracker. This is important as your clients will be able to see what they have done with you for future references. Likewise clients must maintain active payment information.

Violation of this Code of Conduct could result in loss of your PTLync Account. Please report any violations to PTLync. We want to hear your feedback so please alert us and we’ll take action. You can also click on the recommend button to give your trainer better ratings.

Safety Measures

Client's Safety

As soon as you request to be lynced to any of the trainers on PTLync, the PTLync platform has been designed with your safety in mind.

Trainer Qualification checks

Every trainer listed on the PTLync platform has been screened and assessed to validate they are up to the fitness industry standards as awarded by their preferred institute of study, and an ongoing review of trainers qualifications and certifications will be updated to mark their level of experience.

Anonymous Feedback

After every training session, we prompt that you rate the trainer and provide feedback about your session; the comments will not be seen by the trainer as we will be using that feedback to further educate our trainers in the right path and or use it for rewards and recognition. Trainers work extremely hard to provide a fantastic training session to keep their ratings high, and also be more likely to be recommended to other clients in future.

Cashless transaction

Session fees are charged automatically to client’s credit card via paypal, which eliminates the risk of carrying money around. It’s a much more professional and tidy way to work with money.

Trainer Profile

Gone are the days where you were not really sure who you would be meeting at your local gym or exercise venue. You are now able to browse through trainer profiles in your preferred gym/park/fitness studio or sport center, without even having to move from your seat. We find it more personable to be able to view your trainer's introduction video to hear them speak, view their testimonials from their clients, and also their rating.

The trainers are professional and friendly during session and respectful of your privacy. After your session you can also leave feedback and in the future you may be contacted to have a feature video testimonial done on behalf of your trainer.


Each and every trainer would be registered to fitness Australia and is liable for their own insurance cover.

Session standards

No trainer is to arrive at any session without wearing appropriate PTLync uniform, especially if in a non gym environment, and for trainers who operate out of a gym you must follow your home gym rules and wear your uniform and appear professional and tidy, as trainers can be rated poorly if they do not comply to the standards.

All session must be tracked with system provided on PTLync to ensure clients' training history is preserved and to also serve as reference point supposing an injury occurs.

Trainer safety

Cashless transaction means session fee will be automatically deducted from client’s PayPal credit card account which allows trainers to get paid on time and also gets rid of having to deal with the risk of hassle and carrying cash and making change. It makes transactions professional and tidy, and also helps trainer keep track of transactions.

Trainers rate clients

Trainers can now leave feedback anonymously for clients (mean or derogatory feedbacks will not be accepted) and clients can be rated to allow a professional environment and positive experiences to continue.

Client profile

Once a client has lynced their profile to trainer either for "On Demand" purposes or ongoing sessions, trainers no longer have to be in a hurry or in the dark, as client would have stated their goals and medical history / injury history on their profile board, which allows trainers to better cater to their client on initial consultation and there’s a detailed record of every client and every session. This can only be done through the PTLync website and/or app.
